We get involved - the district youth work of AWO Mittelrhein

We are politically active and support the interests of children and young people. With lots of fun and creativity.

The Jugendwerk is the independent and autonomous youth organisation of the AWO Mittelrhein District Association.

Based on the same values as the AWO – freedom, justice, solidarity, equality, tolerance and emancipation – the Jugendwerk is committed to supporting children and young people, helping them to develop their personalities and promoting voluntary work with children and young people at a local level.

Through holiday camps, holiday activities, social cafés, regular group sessions and special events, the youth organisations offer a wide range of programmes to bring local children and young people together and help them have a great time.

There are currently four active local and district youth organisations within the regional association: the Leichlingen and Erftstadt local youth organisations, as well as the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg and Rhein/Oberberg district youth organisations.

Anyone aged between 7 and 30 can become a member and get involved when it’s time to support children and young people through fun and creativity.
