We get involved - the district youth work of AWO Mittelrhein

We are politically active and support the interests of children and young people. With lots of fun and creativity.

The Jugendwerk is the independent and autonomous youth association of the AWO Bezirksverband Mittelrhein. On the basis of the same values as the AWO - freedom, justice, solidarity, equality, tolerance and emancipation - the Jugendwerk stands up for children and young people, supports children and young people in their personal development and promotes voluntary children's and youth work locally.

Camps, holiday games, encounter cafés, regular group activities and special events - the youth organisations offer a wide range of programmes to bring children and young people together locally and have a great time.

Currently, three active local or district youth organisations belong to the district association: The local youth organisations in Leichlingen and Erftstadt and the district youth organisation in Bonn/Rhein-Sieg.

Anyone between the ages of 7 and 30 can become a member and take part in the fun and creative activities for children and young people.

The board of the district youth organisation:

Marius Brüggendiek (assessor)
