The AWO Mittelrhein promotes and supports people. We stand up for everyone, regardless of generation, nationality, religion or gender. Our basic values and guiding principles determine our actions.
We stand for professional social work based on appreciation, respect and diversity. With voluntary commitment and professional work, we fight for individual opportunities and against exclusion. Together and with our political and corporate partners, social associations, representatives of science and supporters of our campaigns and initiatives, we demand equal participation. To this end, we also work together with regional and international organisations.
As a recognised non-profit umbrella organisation of the Freie Wohlfahrtspflege we are organised under the law of associations and are democratically and federally structured. The political decision-making process in our association is based on the members.
